Their story
Henney's Cider was started by Mike Henney as a hobby in 1996 and has grown into a small commercial cider maker based at Tree Farm, Bishops Frome, Herefordshire. Only cider apples are used, including Dabinett, Ashton Bitter, Tremlett's Bitter, Yarlington Mill and Michelin, all grown in Herefordshire orchards, with no sugar added at any stage. Fruit is milled and pressed under contract by Wyre Croft Farm in Bishops Frome, and the finished cider is warehoused and packed by Branded Drinks Bottling in the Forest of Dean. Henney's range is sold mainly through supermarkets and independent drinks retailers rather than direct from a farm shop. The brand's own website is a legacy site dating from the 2010s.
Henney's does not name its own orchard; its cider apples are grown in Herefordshire and supplied, milled and pressed under contract by Wyre Croft Farm, Bishops Frome.
