Their story
Celtic Marches is one of the larger independent cider producers in Herefordshire, based at Wyer Croft in Bishops Frome, on a farm the founding family has worked for eight generations. The farm has around 200 acres of orchards growing eight cider apple varieties, and its cider carries the Herefordshire Cider protected geographical indication, which requires Herefordshire-grown apples. The business presses and blends its own fruit into a range of traditional and fruit ciders sold under the Celtic Marches, Abrahalls and PULP names, and exports to around 14 countries. It is a commercially established operation rather than a small visitor-facing farm cidery.
