Their story
Rich's Cider has operated at Mill Farm in Watchfield since 1954, when it was started by Gordon Rich, and remains a family-run business today. It makes traditional farmhouse cider and farm-pressed apple juice from locally harvested Somerset apples, and its production is still described as traditional despite modernisation over the years. The range includes Farmhouse, a traditional still cider, Golden Harvest, a lighter session cider, and Vintage, a stronger premium cider, alongside fruit ciders and a sparkling perry. The farm has a shop, restaurant and cider bar where visitors can sample before buying, and it holds regular guided cider tours through the year.
