Their story
Westons is a family-owned cider and perry maker founded in 1880 by Henry Weston at The Bounds, Much Marcle, Herefordshire, where it has traded ever since. It is now run by the fourth generation of the family, with Helen Thomas as managing director. One of the larger independent cider makers in the country, it produces well-known brands including Henry Westons Vintage, Stowford Press, Old Rosie and Wyld Wood Organic, alongside perry, distributed to more than 40 countries. Fruit comes mostly from its own orchards around Much Marcle plus growers across Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire, the traditional three-counties cider region. The site also operates as a visitor attraction, with a shop, tea room, restaurant and daily cider mill tours.
Around 350 acres of its own orchards at Much Marcle, including about 45 acres organic; roughly 90% of cider apples are bought in from growers across Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.
