Their story
Dick Willows makes cider and perry from a smallholding and timber-framed barn at Claverton Down, on the edge of Bath, alongside willow and country crafts. Both drinks, at 6.5% ABV, are made from juice from chemical-free orchards and fermented with wild yeast, without added sulphites, and are unpasteurised. They can be tried and bought at the barn, from a mobile cider bar around the area, and at a small number of local pubs and festivals. On some Saturdays the farm also runs a separate 'Cider Barn' session with a food truck and music, and it holds an orchard wassail each January.
Fruit comes from chemical-free orchards; the website does not say whether these are the farm's own trees or bought in.
