Their story

Bere Cider Company makes cider on a working farm outside Langport, where cider has reportedly been made since 1988. It now trades as a café, bar, farm shop and cidermaker together, with a function room available for hire. Fruit is grown in the farm's own orchards, and around 1,500 gallons of cider are pressed each year from about ten commercial apple varieties. Cider can be tasted and bought at the on-site cider shed, known locally as "The Shack", as well as through the café and farm shop and an online shop. Alongside its everyday ciders, the farm also makes an ice cider, in the style of ice wine, and a cider liqueur. It enters the British Cider Championships at the Royal Bath & West Show most years and has picked up medals in several classes.

Cider apples are grown in the farm's own orchards; around ten commercial varieties are used to press roughly 1,500 gallons of cider a year.
