Their story
Wilces is the trading name of the Ledbury Cider and Juice Company, a sixth-generation family cider maker based at The Old Kennels Farm outside Ledbury, Herefordshire, where the Wilce family has been making cider for over 100 years. They use more than 34 traditional Herefordshire cider apple varieties, naturally fermented without added yeast or sugar, then washed, crushed, fermented, blended, filtered and pasteurised. Alongside cider, they produce a raw cider vinegar retaining the "mother". Products are sold as draught bag-in-box, carbonated bottles and kegs, mainly through farm shops and independent retailers rather than a shop of their own.
About 9 acres of orchards outside Ledbury, farmed by the Wilce family for six generations.
