Their story

Oldfields Cider is made by the Thompson family on their farm at Frith Common, near Tenbury Wells in the Teme Valley, Worcestershire, where they say every stage, from growing the apples to packing bottles and kegs, is done in-house. The range is made from Worcestershire-grown bittersweet cider apples, with the single-variety Applefresco made from Red Discovery apples. Their ciders have won a run of awards, including several 2025 wins at the Royal Three Counties Cider Competition and the Royal Bath & West British Cider Championships. Visitors can book a guided tour of the cider mill with tasting, and cider is sold through the farm shop and online.

Bittersweet cider apples are grown on the Thompson family's own farm at Frith Common in the Teme Valley; the single-variety Applefresco is made from Red Discovery apples. Size and age of the orchard are not published.
