Their story
Hayles Fruit Farm is a third-generation family business on the edge of Winchcombe in the Cotswolds, with orchards dating back to 1880 and the farm itself established in 1938. Cider and apple juice production began in 1999, after a hailstorm brought down a large crop of apples and the farm started processing them rather than let them go to waste. Fruit is grown, pressed and bottled on the farm's own 134-acre site, including a Bramley tree and cobnuts surviving from the original 1880s planting. Alongside the Hayles and Badgers cider ranges and single-variety apple juices, the farm runs a shop, the Orchard Kitchen tearoom, a campsite, fishing, a nature trail and pick-your-own.
Own orchards across a 134-acre farm outside Winchcombe, some trees dating from the original 1880s planting (including a surviving Bramley and cobnuts still on view along the farm's Nature Trail).
