Their story
West Croft Cider is a small craft cider producer at Brent Knoll, linked to the Somerset Cider Vinegar Company, which carries its page. It makes pure-juice cider from traditional Somerset cider apples only, without added sugar or concentrate, in the West Country farmhouse style. Its best-known product, Janet's Jungle Juice, was named Champion Cider of Great Britain at the Great British Beer Festival in 1997, 2007 and 2015, and the farm has also won gold at the Royal Bath & West Show, and has taken the Champion Cider award at the Mid-Somerset Show in Shepton Mallet on five occasions. The farm hosts an annual wassail each January, with a torchlit procession, orchard ceremony and mulled cider, which draws large crowds.
