Their story
Robinsons Cider is a small producer in Little Hereford, in Herefordshire's Teme Valley, run by the Robinson family. Cider-making in the family goes back to the 1780s, when Robert Robinson first sold cider from The Bay Horse pub in Tenbury Wells, with commercial production later resuming in 1879 at The Rose and Crown before lapsing. Fifth-generation Robert Robinson revived the business in 2005, using many of the same orchards the family had worked in the past, and was joined by his son Angus, the sixth generation, in 2019. Cider is made from unsprayed cider apples grown in traditional, low-intensity orchards around the Teme Valley, fermented in the family's own cider works using stainless steel tanks.
No orchards of their own named; apples are unsprayed cider fruit from traditional, low-intensity orchards around the Teme Valley, including some the family has worked historically.
