Their story
Orchard Revival is a small cider and perry maker based in North Nibley, near Dursley, run by Tim Andrews, a cider maker and orchardist who has been making cider for about ten years while working to restore Gloucestershire's traditional orchards. Fruit is picked from old, often overlooked orchards across the county, including Pocketts Orchard near Whitminster, taken in exchange for pruning and planting work; in three years Andrews has handed out over 300 apple trees to landowners and put in more than eight acres of new orchard at North Nibley. He serves as a trustee of the Gloucestershire Orchard Trust and a director of CPRE Gloucestershire, having previously worked as a geography teacher. Cider and perry are pressed and bottled by hand.
No single orchard of his own; fruit comes from old, often overlooked orchards across Gloucestershire (including Pocketts Orchard near Whitminster), taken in exchange for pruning and planting work. Andrews has also planted over eight acres of new orchard in North Nibley.
