Their story
Orchard Pig is a Somerset cider brand based at West Bradley near Glastonbury, part of C&C Group plc, which also owns Bulmers and Magners. The brand's own account traces its start to "a Somerset shed" among West Country apple trees, though it does not publish an exact founding date or founders' names. Its ciders are made from West Country bittersweet apples, blended to the company's own recipe, and are gluten-free and suitable for vegans. It is known chiefly for two ciders, Reveller and Truffler, sold widely through UK supermarkets rather than direct from the maker. Unlike many Somerset producers, Orchard Pig does not operate as a visitor attraction or working farm shop; it is a packaged brand aimed at national retail.
