Their story
Moons Cider is made at Woodbine Farm, Sticklinch, near West Pennard, by Tom, who has over ten years' experience making cider. Fruit comes from standard orchards within five miles of the farm, including heritage trees originally planted by the Showering family and earlier cider makers; Tom has restored some of the older trees and planted new ones alongside them. The fruit is a mix of Skyrme's Kernel, Sweet Coppin, Michelin, Improved Dove, Yarlington Mill, Dabinett, Porters Perfection and Browns Apple. Styles go from dry through to sweet, with a low-alcohol option; it comes in bottles, cans, pouches and bag-in-box, mostly sold straight from the farm.
