Their story
Hartlands is a small, family-run farmhouse cider and perry maker at Tirley, Gloucestershire. Cider and perry are made from apples picked up off the ground in their own village orchard rather than shaken from the trees, then sold unbottled from barrels in a small farmyard shed. It is a low-key, informal set-up, with no branding beyond a hand-painted sign at the crossroads. Customers bring their own container or buy one on site. The range is dry, medium and sweet cider, plus perry, all served from the barrel.
