Their story
Gwatkin Cider is a small, family-run cider and perry producer based at Moorhampton Park Farm in Abbey Dore, in Herefordshire's Golden Valley, making cider and perry there for many years. Named varieties used include Yarlington Mill, Kingstone Black, Foxwhelp, Norman and Stoke Red. The farm shop sells the full range of around 35 ciders and perries alongside local beers, and the site also has a restaurant, a tasting room and an event space. Beyond cider and perry, Gwatkin also distils and blends spirits including Apple Jack and damson and plum port.
