Their story
Dunkertons was founded in 1980 by Susie and Ivor Dunkerton, who set out to make organic cider and perry. The business originated in Herefordshire but now presses, ferments and bottles in Gloucestershire, at Dunkertons Park on London Road in Cheltenham, and all its ciders are certified organic by the Soil Association. Fruit is grown without chemicals or concentrates, in line with the founders' aim of working in harmony with the orchard ecosystem. The current range spans core ciders (Black Fox, Craft, Dry, Premium Reserve, Session), fruit ciders (rhubarb, strawberry, mango), canned ciders and an organic perry. Dunkertons Park combines the cidery with a farm shop, independent eateries and a taproom bar, and hosts markets, live music and seasonal events alongside cidery tours and cheese-and-cider masterclasses.
