Their story
Porlock Cider Company describes itself as a small family business making cider from locally grown apples on a working farm in Porlock. It produces small batches using low-carbon pressing methods, and sells three named ciders: Vale, Bay and Weir. The company does not publish a founding date or founders' names. It does not have a public orchard trail or farm-based visitor centre; instead it sells through a shop at nearby Porlock Weir, and it says it can arrange private tastings by appointment. Its ciders have also reached local pubs around Porlock and Watchet, including the Top Ship Inn, Pebbles Tavern and the Esplanade Club.
