Their story
Ellenden Farm is a family-run farm and farm shop at Harvington in the Vale of Evesham, established by Sara and David in 2007. Alongside home-reared beef and lamb, the farm has expanded its orchards since 2007 to grow traditional dessert and cider apples, pears and plums not usually found in supermarkets, including older varieties such as Lord Lambourne; the orchards form part of the Worcestershire Blossom Trail. Ellenden Cider is pressed from the farm's own apples, alongside apple and pear juice, and sold through the farm shop rather than more widely. The farm marks the autumn harvest with its own annual Apple Day, run partly as an educational event for children about where food comes from.
Its own orchards at the farm in Harvington, expanded since 2007, growing traditional dessert and cider apple, pear and plum varieties (including Victoria, Swan and Greengage plums) alongside home-reared livestock; the orchards are on the Worcestershire Blossom Trail.
